Parting Shots

Many artists have graced our pages, so we at ROCKVINE felt it would be appropriate to end our final issue with a parting shots page. This is where we give tribute to legends in the entertainment field. Here are two of the features that are included in our 10 page parting shots feature in our final issue.

Mickey Finn

T-REX

1947 - 2003

Famed leader of the classic rock band T-Rex, Mickey Finn passed away in January of 2003. The remaining members have decided to continue as a tribute to Marc, and Mickey. They will tour through Norway, The Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany starting in February 2003. A respected musician that will be missed deeply.

Armand Zildjian

Zildjian Inc.

1929 - 2002

A renowned, and respected individual in the percussion field. Armand was the chairman, and president of Zildjian. Cymbal, and stick making corporation that bear his family name. Passed away at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Armand got to have personal relationships with many of the respected percussion players in the last century. Buddy Rich, and Gene Krupa to name a few. Armand will be missed by many.
